Epoxy hand painted counter top

Normada winery wanted a unique counter top that was differerent than all the other winerys. After the initial consultation it was decided that the surface would be made out of a dense board called MDF. The surface was treated with several this layers of cement and chips of recycled glass. Dyes and paint were drifted into the finish topped with amber flakes. Burried into the finish was peacock feathers to represent the winery. 3 layers of epoxy were poured over top to seal the art work, seal the feathers and prevent the red wine from staining the surface.
